About
I’m a graphic designer with a Master’s in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from Cambridge, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts from Cologne, Germany.
Growing up in New York, with family across Europe and Africa, meant moving between different cultures, languages, and ways of seeing. That mix still shapes how I approach things today; sometimes in obvious ways, but often more quietly in the background.
There’s a particular pull towards print and material processes, especially printmaking and traditional techniques like Japanese woodblock printing. Working with physical formats brings a different kind of attention and pace that continues to influence my work more broadly.
I work under the name Hope, a variation drawn from the Arabic roots of my name. Carrying the same meaning across languages, it keeps a small connection to where I come from, wherever my work takes me.
